Dislike.

Some people initiate a conversation with you because they’re bored and they have nothing else to do and they expect you to keep them entertained. But they sit there and all they have to say is “Oh I C”, “Cool”, or “Haha”. The conversation is completely one sided and you’re left wondering why they’re even talking to you in the first place. This has to be the number one reason why I’ve stopped talking to or responding to certain people. They can’t hold a conversation and when they want to talk, they don’t know how to keep the conversation alive and start to seem disinterested. I used to think that maybe I was boring so that’s why they would respond that way, but I realized that it’s the other way around, they are the ones who are actually boring, they have nothing else to say. I don’t have time to “talk” to people like that. I’m not someone you can just use when you get bored or when you have nothing else to do.

Turn Off.

I think it’s a complete turn off when all someone can talk about is the fact that they are so lonely and all they want is to find someone, anyone to be with them. They get so sad and so depressed wanting someone to “love” them, that they come off as being desperate. Life isn’t all about being in a relationship, it’s not all about having someone to love. I mean look around you, you should be thankful that you have friends and family that care about you. You should be focusing on yourself, your dreams, and your goals, not trying so hard to find someone to love. It’s a turn off when I talk to someone like that, I start to get less interested in who they are as a person because there’s nothing there but the “want” to be loved. There’s no substance and there’s no personality.

I love it when a guy knows when to have fun and play around, but also knows when to be polite and class it up.

Option vs Priority 

Have you ever felt like you were insignificant to someone you made a priority? I hate that feeling, feeling like I’m an option, someone who will just sit around and wait until the other person gets bored. If I end up feeling that way when I’m dating someone, I’ll let them know, why? Because I feel that if I’ve made them a priority, I took the time to make time for you, so the least you could do is make time for me too. I don’t mean when you’re swamped with school work, exams, or finals, or even swamped at work, I can understand that, but when you’re not doing anything and I ask you to hang out with me or call you and you say “No, I’m lazy right now”, that makes me feel less important. What do you do think about something that isn’t a priority? You don’t think about things that aren’t priorities, in your mind they’re nothing, nonexistent. I don’t like feeling like I’m nothing to someone who is my everything. 

I hate going to sleep when something is bothering me. I lay awake thinking about it until I actually fall asleep. And even then, when I wake up, I always seem to start my day with more questions than answers. :/ 

When I tell you I’m fine or I’m not mad, I mean it.
